Hello + Early Look at My 2021 Ballot

Happy New Year! Over the past few months, I've been thinking about expanding my awards, as well as being more active on here. We'll see how it goes, but I've decided to do both.

I've added Best International Film (for films produced outside of the U.S.) and split Best Breakthrough into two categories: Best Breakthrough Filmmaker and Best Breakthrough Performance. Also, Best Ensemble now honors the main cast and the casting director, as opposed to just the latter. (I don't list the cast on my ballots, though.) I've been updating my ballots, and 2007-2020 are up-to-date on here. I'll go ahead and post 1980 soon as well.

If you're into the Oscars, I've added my nomination predictions, and I'll be sure to post my final ones before the nominees are announced.

I considered posting my current top 10 films of 2021 list, but instead I'll just show you what my ballot looks like - sans winners - at the moment, since it will be a few months before it's "finished." Back soon.
